About Vintage Travel
Over the last 18 years our inspirational selection of properties has
grown from just a handful of houses in Spain to some 400 today
throughout Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Croatia and Greece.
Our ethos remains unchanged: We handpick every property, explore every region, walk the country tracks, swim the seas, sample the cuisine and talk to the locals to make sure it’s exactly what you expect.
Our personal service
Our helpful reservations team has many years’ experience in organising holidays. They regularly visit all the areas, are highly knowledgeable about the houses that we offer and have a wealth of first hand knowledge and experience of the unique character, traditions and customs of each of our destinations. We actively encourage you to talk to our specialist team, who take a pride in their ability to answer those detailed questions that are so important in making the right choice of holiday. Whether you are travelling as a couple, a family or part of a large group, we are here to guide you through the selection process of finding a property and booking your travel arrangements. 
Our property selection
The houses on this site vary from an ancient, historic building, fully renovated to modern day standards, to a recently built, contemporary home. The size of accommodation can be anything from a one bedroom cottage suiting a couple, to a large manor house sleeping up to 20 people. Individual locations are as varied as the houses themselves, and whilst there are some which are within walking distance of a town, village or coastal resort, the majority are in areas less frequented by mainstream tourism, perhaps even a secluded rural setting, far from traffic and passers by.
We personally inspect and often stay overnight in the houses to ensure that they offer all the comfort and facilities required. If a property doesn’t pass the ‘would I stay here myself?’ test, it simply is not selected. Virtually every property throughout this brochure is an individual house with its own private garden and swimming pool. All our houses can be seen on this web site, which shows live availability and is updated on a regular basis, as and when new properties are acquired.
How to use our brochure & web site
Please note that all of our properties are online with detailed property lists divided by area accessible through links at the top of each page. Information on each region is colour-coded for ease of navigation and includes a detailed and tempting description of the area - shown online under the Area Information link on the left menu. These pages include links to area maps, details of how to get to your chosen destination, regional festivals or holy days, an idea of climate and any other important or interesting regional information.Each property description page includes information on the facilities available and the property setting.
The name and location of the property is followed by a checklist giving: capacity (number of people); number of bedrooms; number of bathrooms; any other features of the property, for example approximate distance to beach.
Specific details of the house facilities are given under the heading ‘Accommodation’ about half way down the page on the individual property pages of this web site. This includes description of the public rooms and facilities of the house, bedroom accommodation and bathrooms/shower rooms. Further information describes the garden/grounds, pool dimensions, car parking etc.
On each property description page a small map of the area is shown, if clicked a new window will open showing the grid reference that corresponds to the larger area map now shown. This is intended only as a guide to give an approximate idea of the general location of the property, rather than a strictly accurate pinpoint. Car hire prices, suggested ferry crossings and flight routes, insurance details, booking conditions and our booking form can be found on or from the Car hire page.

We believe that you should be able to tailor your holiday to your individual needs. This means careful selection of a property that is just right for you, the flexibility to decide when and how to travel, with our helpful guidance through the whole process.
Couples and small parties
In each area we have a number of smaller houses, of one or two bedrooms, which are especially suitable for a couple or one family.
In addition, many of our larger properties are offered at a lower rate, which is shown on the price panel, making them suitable for smaller groups and couples.Please note that when taking advantage of this Small Party Rate you will still have exclusive use of the property, grounds and swimming pool, although certain bedrooms may be closed off.
Our pricing structure
Our prices are shown per property per
week; they are not per person. However, a
number of our properties are available at a
lower rate when occupied by a couple or
smaller group, and these rates are shown on
the price panel alongside the standard rates. When costing our holiday villas, we take account of
the fact that most bookings are for a two week
holiday. Where a booking crosses two price bands
the appropriate weekly rates are charged. Prices do not include car hire, flights or
ferries, although our staff will be happy to
advise on suitable options of travel. 
What is included?
All prices shown in our brochure and on our website are the weekly property rental and are not per person prices. Included in the weekly property rental:
- Accommodation as described including services (gas, water and electricity)
- Bed linen, bath towels (remember to pack your beach towels) and tea towels
- Sole use of the property
- Sole use of a private swimming pool
- Garden furniture (sun loungers, outdoor table and chairs)
- Property cleaned and prepared for your
arrival with beds made up
Getting there
The weekly property rental does not include any travel arrangements to and from your selected property. Here, the watchword is flexibility, and although we should stress that we are not offering pre-organised packages from specific departure points, we are happy to advise on and book your travel. Financial Security
Vintage Travel is licensed by the Civil Aviation Authority who has granted us an Air Tour Operators Licence, ATOL 2787. This, together with our membership of ABTA (V5643) gives you complete financial security. We are pleased to belong to AITO, the Association of Independent Tour Operators, an alliance of specialist travel companies committed to alternative tailor-made holidays and high levels of personal service.
