Such villa holidays offer ultimate flexibility in that you are not tied to specific dining times, as you would be in a hotel for example. Your holiday villa will have a well-appointed kitchen leaving you free to cater at a time that suits you and your party, not at a time dictated to you by your accommodation host.
However, we would urge you to get out and about locally, to enjoy the fine food and wine found in restaurants locally. Incidentally, the vast majority of houses are equipped with microwaves and dishwashers and your holiday villa will also feature a washing machine, thus avoiding costly hotel laundry bills.
In renting a holiday villa with Vintage Travel you are guaranteed to have your own private swimming pool as this feature is the first prerequisite we look for when selecting our properties. Hence, there is no mad rush to set your alarm to ‘claim’ a sunbed around the pool first thing in the morning as these recliners are provided for your exclusive use.
Our properties are each individually 'hand-picked' by our dedicated team of overseas managers thus ensuring that your holiday villa is likely to be a characterful property, typical of the area. It might be an authentic Andaluz finca, a masia typical of Catalunya, a genuine Portuguese manor house in the Minho, the most aesthetically pleasing Béarnaise farmhouse in southwest France or a traditional stone built house in Istria. Whilst we consider our villa holidays to be aimed at the more independent traveller, we nevertheless have staff on hand in the majority of our areas to supply information or assistance. Similarly, we are delighted to book flights, ferry travel or car hire in order to complete your villa holiday arrangements but this is optional and you may prefer to source these options for yourself.
