How to Book
Choose a property from our one of our areas and view the dates and prices displayed to the right of the property details. You may either click on the price to book that week and start online booking or call us to check any details you may wish to know.
Booking Online:
You will be guided through the booking process, giving your details, selecting dates, giving names of other party members and then confirming any car hire and insurance details.
Booking online can take as little as five minutes and you will be asked for your payment details to confirm your booking details. One of our knowledgable team will call you shortly after your booking to confirm any details that we need to check and also to answer any questions about your booking.
If you have requested that Vintage Travel find and organise your travel arrangements or flights, we shall discuss options with you, tailoring your booking to your requirements prior to confirming these details and taking your booking deposit or payment.
Our online booking system is secured using 128bit encryption security ensuring your details are safe with Vintage Travel.

1. Check availability of your chosen property by viewing the property on this web site
(www.vintagetravel.co.uk) or alternatively telephone 0845 344 0431 and
speak with a member of our reservations team, who will be pleased to
offer help with all other details of your holiday arrangements including:
• Flights and ferries
• Car hire
• Insurance
At this stage, subject to availablity, we will be happy to confirm your
booking with the property owner/other service provider or if required
we can hold the property on an option for up to 48 hours. Please read
the Booking Conditions,
(these are also sent to you on the back of your invoice).
2.To confirm your booking you will be required to pay a deposit of £75 per person based on full house capacity (minimum £250). We can be flexible where small groups are occupying a large house.This payment can be made over the telephone and taken on a credit/debit card. Full payment is required to confirm a booking where your holiday departure date is within ten weeks.
3. An invoice confirming all details will be sent to you. This will include a returnable Security Deposit, insurance premiums and costs of travel/car hire, as appropriate.
4. Any remaining balance after the deposit has been paid is split into two equal payments, the first being due three months after the booking and the final balance payable ten weeks prior to departure. Please note that balances paid on a credit card are subject to a 1.5% surcharge. This surcharge does not apply to the booking deposit.
5. Ensure all information given to us is correct, as any changes at a later date will be subject to amendment fees.

Data protection policy
In order to process your booking and to ensure that your travel arrangements
run smoothly and meet your requirements we need to use the information you
provide such as name, address and any special needs/dietary requirements etc.
We take full responsibility for ensuring that proper security measures are in place to protect your information. We must pass the information on to the relevant property owner and provider(s) of your travel arrangements such as airlines, hotels, transport companies etc. The information may also be provided to security or credit checking companies, public authorities such as customs/ immigration if required by them, or as required by law.
Additionally, where your holiday is outside the European Economic Area (EEA) (i.e. Croatia), controls on data protection in your destination may not be as strong as the legal requirements in this country. We will not however pass any information on to any person who is not the owner/manager/ keyholder of your property or who is not responsible for part of your travel arrangements. This applies to any sensitive information that you give to us such as details of any disabilities, or dietary/religious requirements.
If we cannot pass this information to the relevant persons (as above), whether
in the EEA or not, we cannot provide your booking. In making this booking,
you consent to this information being passed on to the relevant persons.
You are entitled to a copy of your information held by us. If you would like
to see this please contact us. (We may make a small charge for providing this
to you.) We will hold your information, where collected by us, and may use
it to inform you of offers in the future or to send you our brochure. If you do
not wish to receive information from us in the future, please notify us.

It is of paramount importance that the property you book meets the needs of your party as closely as possible.
Please help us to avoid any pitfalls by telling us of any special requirements.
- Is there a member of the party that cannot cope with hills?
- Are you concerned about the safety of a toddler?
- Is there shade within the garden for sensitive skins?
- Are the cooking facilities inside and out adequate for a large party that wishes to self-cater extensively?
- Does the swimming pool have a shallow end?
- Is there a telephone in the house?
- Is privacy a major concern?
These are just a few examples that spring to mind – there are a million and one questions you may wish to ask.
