The Costa Brava, or 'Wild Coast' is arguably one of the most beautiful coastlines in Europe. The most noticeable characteristics of the Costa Brava must surely be the rugged rocky hillsides, often softened by pine trees, which tumble down into the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean. Typically, this is the sight which can be seen from the sea from Palamos up to Sa Riera and could be said to be one of the best ways to appreciate the beauty of the Costa Brava.
Vintage Travel has been closely associated with the Costa Brava since the company was launched some 18 years ago, our passion for the area being the driving force for our establishing a comprehensive range of villas with private pools and masias on the Costa Brava and slightly inland. We have a wide range of properties available to rent from Calonge right up to the northern reaches of the Costa Brava at Vilamaniscle, close to the bay of Llanca.
However, the main centre of our operations is around Tamariu, a tiny, horseshoe shaped sandy cove backed by a sprinkling of bars and restaurants - one of the remaining traditional fishing villages which were once so typical on the Costa Brava. Here we offer a wide range of villas with pools to rent, ranging from traditional villas to the ultra modern, perched on the top of a hill with far reaching views up and down the Costa Brava.
The whole of the coastline is varied, ranging from the wild and dramatic national park of the Cap de Creus in the north of the Costa Brava to the huge open bays of Roses and Palamos, both of which offer wide stretches of fine, golden sand, ideal for families.
