Sitting in a lawned garden, edged with mature trees and bushes, this attractive property boasts honey coloured stone walls, white shutters and a 'leaf style' slate roof typical of the area.
Stone steps lead up to the entrance on the first floor. Inside, space flows effortlessly from the dining area through the kitchen and into the living room where French windows open out onto an oak balcony.
Original beams and authentic features such as the large fireplace and restored wood floor in the living room give testament to the history of the building, whilst the range of up to date appliances and fixtures add a modern touch and create a practical living space. Three of the bedrooms are on the ground floor and enjoy access to both the front and rear gardens. On the second floor, the master bedroom features a high ceiling and original wood beams.
Further accommodation is in the form of La Petite Maison, a two bedroom cottage situated in the garden to the front. It is ideal for those in a large group seeking an additional degree of privacy. Naturally, we guarantee to let the property to only one group at any time.
Complementing the feeling of space in the interior is the garden. Children will love the expanse of lawn on which to play whilst adults will be reassured that each area of garden is enclosed. To the rear, a central path leads from the wide stone terrace by the house to the fenced pool.
It is a 10 minute walk from the house to Parisot where you will find a number of shops, a restaurant, and just beyond the village, a leisure lake. Within the area, there is a wealth of things to do and see; canoeing on the River Aveyron, wandering the cobbled streets of the historic bastides of Cordes, Najac and Villefranche and of course, sampling the local dishes and wine.
Groups up to 8 people paying the small party rate have use of La Grande Maison only.
*Pool heating available between May and September only, and is payable locally.
