Located off a country lane only 5km from the bustling centre of Ronda, this well presented home is an ideal base for small groups who seek the picturesque views of a rural setting and yet wish to be within easy reach of the amenities and attractions of an historic town.

Imagine dining on a smart covered terrace whilst surveying the swimming pool down below and admiring the impressive backdrop of interlocking golden brown hills that make up the distinctive Serranía de Ronda. This is the scene with which you will be greeted as you step out of the front door of Casa Mimosa. Beyond the pool, fruit trees of peach, olive and pear are dotted across the grounds.

Having been equipped for its owners' own use when they wish to escape the town, the comfortable interior is neatly furnished, with warm colours creating a welcoming feel. A drive of some 10 minutes will take you to the heart of Ronda, where a tour of the sights will doubtless include the oldest bullring in Spain and a wander along the 'Paseo de los Ingleses' that skirts the edge of the dramatic gorge.

You may simply wish to meander through the narrow streets of whitewashed houses with their fine façades and wrought iron balconies of the town's beautifully preserved old quarter, or enjoy a leisurely meal in one of the many local restaurants. Further afield but accessible destinations for a day trip are the equally enchanting cities of Sevilla, Córdoba and Granada.
