This house really lives up to the estate agent's well known adage that location is everything. Lying amidst the trees in private grounds of about one acre within a bow of a narrow river, in a bowl of the hills of the Grazalema Natural Park this is a wonderful tract of country that is specially protected. As well as a great location the spacious and carefully furnished interior of the house invites guests to really feel at home.
The attractions of the immediate vicinity, not least walking the byways of this impressive landscape, are plentiful. 6km in one direction lies the 'pueblo blanco' of Ubrique, famed for its leather crafts; a similar distance in the other direction is the pretty, whitewashed hilltop town of El Bosque and not far off is the spectacular white town of Grazalema itself.
With such marvellous sights on your doorstep you could be forgiven for not wanting to wander much further afield. However, it would be well worth considering a visit to Arcos de la Frontera (40km), Jerez (70km), Cádiz (100km) and Sevilla (110km) all of which are between 50 and 90 minutes' drive away.
