Some 20 minutes by car from the sherry producing centre of Jerez, a country lane winds its way through wide open fields and leads to the imposing whitewashed walls of this fine country estate.

The air of grandeur displayed in the façade does not diminish as the property is entered, for here in the spacious and stylishly furnished rooms, the owner's flair for interior design and obvious attention to quality and detail is clear to see.

Smart and beautifully coordinated are the numerous sofas that form two areas of soft seating at either end of the elegant living room, whilst the comprehensive range of kitchen appliances is screened behind curtained wood doors of the most tasteful design. Throughout, carefully chosen antique pieces from various countries add charm and neutral tiles of unpolished marble line the walls of the attractive bath and shower rooms.  Doors from the living room lead onto a covered terrace where breakfast can be taken whilst surveying the extensive panorama of open farmland that stretches out towards the pretty 'pueblo blanco' of Medina Sidonia, visible in the distance.To the side, the swimming pool and its surrounding patios enjoy the same vista, whilst to the rear a sheltered courtyard is enclosed by bougainvillea strewn walls on all sides.

The local village of Cuartillos is just 2km from the house and is home to two restaurants and a small supermarket, whilst golfers will appreciate the proximity of the 18 hole Montecastillo course, which can be reached within 10 minutes by car.  The golden beaches of the Costa de la Luz are an appealing destination, the nearest being those of Puerto de Santa María, which is a 10 minute drive beyond Jerez.
