The local owners of this traditional 'masia' or farmhouse spent several years in its meticulous restoration and debated at length over layout, colour schemes, decorations and furnishings. Part of a tiny Catalan hamlet bordered by fields and pine woods, this lovely property is within a 12 minute drive of two beautiful, sandy Mediterranean beaches - the impressive sweep of Platja d'en Castell and the picturesque rural cove of Cala Estreta. Also close by is the local fishing harbour of Palamós with its maze of ancient back streets and over 50 restaurants, many of which specialise in the fresh seafood for which the town is renowned.
You are within easy walking distance of the village of Vall Llobrega with its two local restaurants, and from the enclosed lawned gardens you can enjoy views of the green hills that skirt the sheltered bays of the coastline.
Historic Girona is a 45 minute drive away, rich in history and well worth a visit. Closer to hand Begur with its medieval castle, excellent shops and restaurants takes about 15 minutes.
