Painstakingly designed to high personal specifications, this beautiful house is constructed in the warm sandstone of the area. One of our most popular Mallorcan properties, it sits atop the low hill that dominates the little farming town of S'Horta and, as such, is privileged to marvellous sweeping views across the surrounding landscape to the sea as well as inland to a magnificent range of rolling green hills. Pinewoods, too ensconce the house, which is both private and tranquil. The selection of secluded poolside patios and magnificent, shaded upper terrace will doubtless prove an irresistible invitation to enjoy outdoor living at its very best.
Upon entering you are welcomed by a splendid, typically Mallorcan interior patio of potted plants. To one side is a light spacious L-shaped living/dining room and open plan kitchen. The ample bathrooms are adorned with tasteful ceramics whilst most of the broad, fitted bedrooms have access out onto terracing and those far-reaching views to either the sea or countryside.
All in all, the house spreads stylishly and with many singular touches over three floors, the wealth of external patios providing families or sharing parties with an opportunity for individual peace and quiet if required.
Within an en easy 5km drive are various picturesque sandy coves, the nearby golf course and the fishing village of Portocolom. You can walk downhill into S'Horta, an essentially Mallorcan country town with a selection of basic amenities that includes a couple of minimarkets and cafes, a tapas bar and a regular fresh vegetable market in front of the church. There is a very popular country restaurant about 2km away, just one of several that dot the surrounding countryside.
Families with younger children will be interested to know that a gate on the upper terrace plus another at the rear of the house can be closed preventing direct access down to the pool area.
