With a feel and style of times gone by, this unpretentious, restored farmhouse is very conveniently placed for exploring both the picturesque hinterland as well as the numerous sandy cove beaches of the south east coastline. As they have been for several generations, both the surrounding farmland and adjacent homestead (on the opposite side from Casa Margarita) remain in the family of Margarita herself, one of the most charming and friendly of all our Mallorcan property owners; someone whose daily life still revolves around working the land, planting, tending and picking the crops, collecting eggs from her chickens and generally supervising her motley collection of animals (much to the delight of younger guests in particular)!

The cool interior of the farmhouse is simply and comfortably furnished, decorated in rustic style with interesting little antique touches here and there.

The ground floor comprises a traditional entrance hall/ sitting room and a separate kitchen/diner . To one side is a double bedroom with en suite bathroom while upstairs you will find an additional smaller seating area off the landing together with two bedrooms and a further bathroom.

Families with younger children are sure to appreciate the gated private swimming pool which has Roman steps and spacious terracing affording pleasant views across fields, orchards and scattered farmsteads towards the iconic sanctuary of Sant Salvador dominating the rural landscape from its privileged hilltop position.

At arm's length is one of those typical covered barbecue houses with wooden table and benches, whilst a further picnic table is set on the lawn in the mature garden next to the pool.

Local customs and traditional Mallorcan dialect still prevail in Ca's Concos, an unspoilt village about 1km away where you will find three respected restaurants, a bar, supermarket, post office and bakery. A scenic back lane takes you directly to the market town of Felanitx (8km) where comprehensive amenities can be found.

All along the nearby coastline are a series of family friendly, sandy coves that are well worth seeking out; try S'Amarador and Cala Llombards which can each be reached within a 20 minute drive. The surrounding countryside is dotted with local restaurants serving tasty regional specialities and where it is still easy to find those tremendous value "menus of the day".
