Situations, on this dramatic stretch of coastline, do not come much better than this! El Racó del Bosc is an impressive and attractive property nestling in the pine woods on the slopes that rise up from the picture postcard horseshoe bay that is the fishing village of Tamariu.

Literally within a few hundred metres of this fine property you will find a lovely curving sandy beach, shops, bars and some excellent locally recommended fresh seafood restaurants all tucked into a charming village whose beauty has remained intact.

A few minutes walk down the nearby rustic steps brings you to the small crescent of pedestrian only promenade, lined with restored fishermen's cottages and restaurant terraces overlooking the translucent water. Bathing from the beach or snorkelling off the rocks at its extremities is sheer pleasure.

The appeal of the house itself matches its fine situation. Mellow walls of L'Escala stone enclose both the area on the lower level and the neat garden which is laid mainly to lawn.

The interior has been carefully designed with extensive use of traditional local materials, is comfortably and tastefully furnished and, as expected of a property of this calibre, has all necessary conveniences, including central heating, making it a practical choice for early and late season visits.

There is a mini market in the village, whilst Palafrugell with comprehensive amenities and a daily food market is just 5km away.
