Bordered on three sides by the impressive woods of Catalan pine that cover the hillsides above Llafranc, Casa Aillada enjoys a particularly privileged position. A 15 minute walk downhill from the house brings you into the charming local village of Llafranc with its traditional Catalan atmosphere. The pretty horseshoe bay, beach and marina are backed by an attractive tree lined promenade offering a selection of bars and shops together with several recommended restaurants whose tempting menus include many regional specialities.
Inside, Casa Aillada has been very tastefully and comfortably furnished, and offers spacious accommodation on two floors. For discerning cooks the kitchen has been well equipped and there is central heating should it be required in very early or late season.
The large principal bedroom on the first floor has its own sun terrace which enjoys partial views of the nearby bay. Children will enjoy the table tennis and basketball net, whilst the fully enclosed garden has plenty of lawn and terrace space for youngsters to play. Add to this the advantage of a shaded barbecue terrace which overlooks the swimming pool and has a gate which can be closed as an added safeguard.
While all amenities are close at hand in Llafranc, do not overlook the fishing village of Tamariu (only 3km away) and the local town of Palafrugell, with its daily food markets, which is a 7 minute drive.
