We are always delighted to discover properties that are within walking distance of a beach and all amenities, hence the location of Villa Llafranc is undoubtedly amongst our best. Elevated on the lower slopes of San Sebastian, the hill skirting the famous village itself, there are commanding views to the sparkling Mediterranean and Les Gavarres mountains in the distance.
Inside, the accommodation is furnished in a traditional and unpretentious local style, with rooms that are bright and airy, whilst the south-west facing pool has lawned terracing on three sides and a shaded patio close by for hotter parts of the day. The great appeal of this property is however its situation since the shops, bars and excellent restaurants that line Llafranc's elegant tree lined promenade and sandy beach are just 450m downhill from the house.
This area remains one of the most picturesque and unspoilt corners of Catalunya. A stroll around the headland to neighbouring Calella is not to be missed, while the local markets, particularly at nearby Palafrugell, are a wonderful source of fresh produce.
Llafranc has long been a secret haven for world famous artists, writers and actors.The bar of the popular Hotel Llafranc on the seafront is adorned with autographed photographs of the many celebrities who have visited over the years - and the many who still do.
