An imposing property, Son Real stands in rolling countryside just outside the sleepy town of Sencelles surrounded by 17 acres of picturesque orange grove, holm oak and young carob trees. Seekers of the “real” Mallorca will surely relish the opportunity to stay in such an immaculately kept, traditional house and at the same time experience the gentle pace of life still found in the heartland of this magnificent island.

Sitting peaceful and secluded behind high grilled gates off a narrow rural track, Son Real is perfect for a ‘get away from it all’ type of holiday and yet retains the option of easy access both to the coast and many typical local towns.

For many years the much loved second residence of a distinguished local family, Son Real boasts a wealth of carefully preserved detail throughout. Décor and furnishings are a combination of both antique and modern pieces, creating an attractive, pleasingly comfortable interior. Comprising a main house and adjacent 'casita' (cottage), the accommodation layout permits excellent flexibility for larger parties.

In this central island location you are never far from anywhere.. The wine producing town of Binissalem together with the amenities, restaurants and expansive weekly market of Inca lie just 10 minutes west, a 30 minute drive north brings you to the magnificent, sweeping sandy Bay of Pollença while the capital city of Palma is a similar distance south.

It is about a 20 minute stroll into the charming little town of Sencelles where you will find a couple of shops selling everyday essentials, two local bars and a Michelin-recommended local restaurant.

Parties of up to 8 persons paying reduced rental rates will have use of the main house only. Air conditioning (if used) is payable locally according to meter. Families with younger children will be interested to know that gates on both the front and back terraces can be closed preventing direct access to the pool area.
