Villa Description

We are indeed privileged to include Son Real in our portfolio as this unique house has become one of the most sought after properties in our Mallorcan collection. Seekers of the 'real' Mallorca will surely relish the opportunity to stay in such an immaculately kept traditional house and at the same time experience the gentle pace of life found in the heartland of this magnificent island.

An imposing property, Son Real stands in rolling countryside just outside the sleepy town of Sencelles surrounded by 17 acres of picturesque orange grove and oakwood.

Sitting peaceful and secluded behind high grilled gates off a narrow rural track means this is a perfect place to come for get away from it all relaxation whilst retaining the option of easy access to both the coast and several typical local towns.

The property layout ,comprising a main house with an adjacent 'casita' (or cottage), allows for excellent flexibility of party size but it is important to mention that we guarantee to let only to one family or group of friends at any one time.

This fine house remains the much loved second residence of a distinguished local family and boasts a wealth of carefully chosen detail throughout. Décor and furnishings are a combination of both the antique and modern, making for an attractive and pleasingly comfortable interior.

Being centrally located on the island means you are never far from anywhere and therefore wonderfully placed for exploring. The famous wine producing town of Binissalem together with the amenities, restaurants and expansive weekly market at Inca lie 10 minutes west, a 30 minute drive north brings you to the magnificent, sweeping sandy Bay of Pollença with the capital city of Palma a similar distance south.

It is about a 20 minute stroll into the charming little town of Sencelles where you will find a couple of shops selling everyday essentials, two local bars and, interestingly, a Michelin recommended restaurant.

Please note: Parties of up to 8 persons paying reduced rental rates will have use of the main house only. Air conditioning payable locally. Families with younger children will be interested to know that gates on both the front and back terraces can be closed preventing direct access to the pool area.
