In a winning location that combines easy access to the village life of Caromb and breathtaking views over the surrounding countryside to the fabled Mont Ventoux, Mas St Siffrein is a recently restored village house, ideal for those wishing to walk to restaurants, cafés and small shops yet still feel as if they are getting away from it all.

Whilst the façade of the house overlooks a village street in Caromb, the courtyard, with its shaded terrace and enclosed pool, faces the vineyards and distant hilltop villages.

Inside, the quiet atmosphere continues. The owner possesses a flair for design and the result would not look out of place in an interiors magazine. Spread over three floors, the rooms are light and airy with a mixture of pale colours and exposed stone, thick white painted wood beams, all enhanced by carefully chosen items that exude Provençal charm.

The charmingly authentic village of Caromb is on your doorstep, but no visit here would be complete without some time spent exploring the surrounding areas. Small country roads wind their way up into the Dentelles de Montmirail until you reach the little village of Suzette (10km).

There are plenty of marked walking routes from here that take you through the vineyards and into the stunning countryside. Refreshments are available on your return to Suzette at a small café which has the most spectacular view from its terrace.
