Private swimming pool (9m x 4m).

It is a grand approach to Florinda through double iron gates leading onto an imposing driveway. This sets the tone for a unique house of character and quality, somewhat idiosyncratic in layout... and all the more endearing for it.

Renovated with a purist flair and immense taste, the house interior abounds with splendid original features such as open faced stone walls, wooden floorboards and magnificent solid wood holding and cross beams. The kitchen, fitted with a full range of modern appliances, at the same time retains the charm and rustic feel of the property’s farmhouse origins. In a further acknowledgement of times past, two of the bedrooms feature antique, free-standing roll top baths with matching basins, designated from the sleeping areas by portable screening.

Outside, a broad covered dining terrace houses an impressive brick barbecue and summer kitchen which overlooks the pool and neatly manicured lawned area. Conveniently placed adjacent to the poolside sun terrace you will find a shower room, separate cloakroom and a large Finnish sauna.
 
The charming little hamlet of Bokordici offers the perfect opportunity to experience the gentle, relaxed pace of life still typical of rural Istria today. Just 3kms away, Svetvincenat is an appealing local town with an imposing medieval, stone castle at its heart and a good selection of amenities including a chemist, post office and a couple of restaurants. Pretty pebble beaches can be found to the north and south of Rovinj (around a 20 minute drive) and be sure to visit the capital, Pula, where a magnificent Roman amphitheatre hosts regular film screenings, cultural events and live concerts by world famous artistes.
