This impressive property enjoys a splendid position nestling into the gentle wooded slopes of Rio d'Oro. From the poolside and terraces of this very private house there are eye catching sea views across the valley to the distant glistening bay of Palamós.

Painted a warm ochre colour and with attractive green shutters adorning the exterior Casa Gloria is a welcoming home, tastefully furnished in a light, modern Mediterranean style, well proportioned, bright and thoughtfully laid out.  Outdoor living is a real pleasure with the sitting room opening onto an ample terrace, shaded by a large sun awning and ideal for al fresco dining. Parents in particular will find this a very convenient vantage point from which to supervise activities in the private swimming pool just below.

A 10 minute drive will bring you to the charming village of Calonge with its medieval castle and good amenities including shops, bars,weekly market and choice of restaurants. 5 minutes further on, the long sandy beach of Sant Antoni is ideal for swimming and water sports.  The seafront promenade provides a delightful walk to the local fish auction, which takes place Monday to Friday at 4pm on the quayside when the Palamós fishing fleet arrives. 

Criss-crossed with a network of well marked walking and cycling trails and renowned for their Romanic churches, the lush, ancient forests close to the house are steeped in history and invite exploration.
