As we wandered through beautifully furnished rooms and admired the picturesque view out towards the sea from the balcony of the principal bedroom, we were in no doubt that Casa de Anunciada should be the next addition to our portfolio. With its polished wooden floors, stylish soft furnishings of the most tasteful fabric and homely finishing touches, this is a home that exudes comfort and quality to such an extent that guests are unlikely to want to leave.
Adding further to the appeal, the substantial garden that surrounds the house offers a wide expanse of lawn that creates a great sensation of space. In one corner, an impressive stone built barbecue house comes complete with fitted kitchen, table and chairs, whilst the attractive tiled terrace that adjoins one end of the property is an ideal spot for dining al fresco. Across the grounds, mature trees cast welcome areas of shade and the swimming pool sits on a slightly lower level, flanked by more lawns.
Situated in a pretty locale of other similar properties, with woodland extending beyond one end of the garden and the sea visible in the distance to the front, the house enjoys a pleasing location. Moreover, it is only 1km from the delightful coastal town of Baiona, a sophisticated centre housing a wealth of excellent restaurants and smart shops and bordered by some lovely sandy beaches.
