Tucked into the sunny south-western hillside just 840m from the beach and a short drive from various picturesque fishing villages, this well appointed house offers comfortable, well laid out accommodation. Carefully chosen furnishings and fittings make La Puesta del Sol a very homely and welcoming property perfect for relaxed summer living.

The spacious living/dining area opens onto a large covered terrace overlooking the enticing private swimming pool. Steps lead down past the barbecue on the mid-terrace to the pool itself, paved with traditional Begur stone and a real 'sun-trap'.  The enclosed, mature garden adorned with flowerbeds, numerous plants and shrubs and a gorgeous bougainvillea is a riot of colour. The early evening views of the sun setting over this classic Mediterranean scene also deserve special mention.

Ideal for families, the broad, sandy beach of Platja de Pals is within easy distance and offers windsurfing, sailing and striking views across to the Isles Medes.  Formerly a refuge for pirates, the islands are now a protected Marine Park and a renowned dive site. Platja del Racó naturist beach is within 1km while Sa Riera and Sa Tuna are two other cove beaches with a unique 'Costa Catalana' atmosphere.

Cosmopolitan Begur, crowned by its hilltop medieval castle offers a choice of restaurants in its warren of backstreets while the enchanting villages of Tamariu, Llafranc and Calella are all equally accessible.  Golfing enthusiasts can choose from three excellent local courses.
