Situated amidst a picturesque landscape of gently rolling fields and vineyards, this lovingly restored stone property enjoys a superb rural outlook. At the same time, it is in a prime position for visits to the many picture postcard hilltop villages that make this area of the Tarn such a delight to explore.

Drive just 25 minutes north-east to discover picturesque Cordes-sur-Ciel which, with its charming Gothic houses standing proudly on a steep hillside, is understandably the most celebrated bastide in the south-west.

To the west lies the equally appealing Bruniquel, where thick arches reveal a delightful maze of steep cobbled streets lined with characterful ancient homes. Closer to hand and just 5 minutes drive from the house, the charming miniature bastide of Castelnau-de-Montmiral offers all amenities within its arcaded square and medieval buildings.

At the house your comfort is assured, since the recent renovation has retained the original features that create such character and combined them with up-to-date appliances. The focal point is the roomy kitchen with its large open hearth and stone flagged floor, whilst across the hall in the sitting room, plump sofas and a tasteful décor of soft hues set a relaxed tone.

Outside, meals al fresco can be taken under a wisteria draped gazebo, whilst bathers will enjoy the sheltered location of the pool, which lies on a lower level beyond a gently sloping bank.
