This lovely house boasts a truly wonderful position with superb views from its terraces over the beautiful countryside to the picturesque Peloponnese coastline. Divari’s proud owners, Inge and Yiannis, have named their property after one of the sparkling, crystal clear lagoons found in the scenic Bay of Navarino which the house looks towards.

 

Internally the accommodation is laid out over one level with a pleasantly decorated, open plan living/dining/kitchen area. The garden and pool area are a particular delight with various mature shrubs and flowers creating good privacy.

A broad veranda, shared by the living area and one of the bedrooms showcases a vista so impressive that your dilemma will surely be whether to stay at the house and relax in this bucolic setting or head out to explore the lovely surrounding countryside and nearby coastline.

Gialova’s sandy beach is a 3 minute drive with the village also home to a selection of excellent waterfront tavernas, a couple of gift shops and a well stocked general store. Golden Beach is just 2km and locals claim that the beach of Voidhokilia (3.5km) is one of the best in the eastern Mediterranean. We tend to agree.

No visit to the Peloponnese would be complete without investigating the many fascinating ancient sites in the vicinity. Nestor’s Cave and Palace are close by as are the impressive fortresses and castles at the coastal villages of Pylos, Methoni and Koroni.




 

Due to the wooded environs barbecues are not permitted in July and August.
