Just 6km from the spectacular 'pueblo blanco' of Arcos de la Frontera, we followed a country lane past open fields and then through a clearing between lush trees and foliage to discover this attractive country home, which stands graciously amidst mature lawned gardens and comes complete with its own tennis court.
Evidently a much loved property, La Soledad is beautifully kept and cared for by the family who have owned it for many generations. Its spacious reception rooms and ample garden have provided the setting for many happy gatherings and are perfectly prepared for large groups to holiday together in comfort.
A smart entrance hall with vaulted ceiling and impressive archways leads the way to a long sitting/dining room. From here, doors provide access to an attractive vine covered terrace that looks out across the lush garden, where mature palm trees cast welcome pockets of shade upon a wide lawn. To the side is the pool area, thoughtfully enclosed by a fence and boasting a separate children's pool alongside the main facility as well as a conveniently located poolside shower room.
Whether you wish to play tennis on the private court that lies beyond the pool or simply relax with a book under the shade of a tree, the attractive grounds of this smart country home provide the perfect setting in which to do so.
For trips out, the delightful town of Arcos de la Frontera with its narrow maze like streets and Moorish style alleyways is only a 5 minute drive from the house and offers a wide range of shops and restaurants and some stunning views from its elevated position. Also well worth a visit and within easy reach for a day trip are the charming cities of Sevilla, Jerez and Cádiz, whilst the lovely sandy beaches of the Costa de la Luz are 1 hour away.
Whilst there are seven bedrooms, a maximum of 12 guests is permitted. Parties paying the small party rate will have use of the ground floor accommodation only.
