Recently restored, Casa delle Vigne is now a stylish and comfortable home in a setting to rival many. Its views stretch across the patchwork of vines, olive groves and fields towards the impressive Sibillini mountains in the distance, whilst to one side, the rooftops of the nearby village, Patrignone, are to be seen peaking above the trees. This lovely location offers the best of both worlds: essentially rural, it is only a 10 minute stroll (1.1km) along the nearby country road into the village itself.
Cool, understated interiors accentuated with splashes of colour in the bedrooms create a peaceful and uncluttered haven. Here, your comfort is assured with large sofas, modern bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen.
The bedrooms, on the upper level, enjoy the same picturesque views that can be seen from the dining terrace and the pool area, itself attractively surrounded by travertine marble that echoes the colour theme inside. The recent addition of a wooden deck, furnished with outdoor sofa and chairs, under the pine trees in the grounds provides a place to relax in the shade whilst still enjoying the panoramic views across to the pool and beyond. The finishing relaxing touch is a hammock that gently sways between the trees.
Patrignone provides basic amenities in the form of a bar/pizzeria and supermarket, with a further choice of restaurants and shops in the hilltop town of Montalto delle Marche, a 5 minute drive away.
The location of Casa delle Vigne will delight nature and culture lovers alike as the safe, sandy beaches of the Adriatic coast and the hills of the Monte Sibillini National Park can be reached within 45 minutes.
Nearby Ascoli Piceno (30km) is a stunning medieval town rich in history and art, whose Piazza del Popolo is widely renowned as being one of Italy's most beautiful squares: a day out here will undoubtedly be one to remember.
