Situated in a gently elevated position overlooking an undulating patchwork of hills and fields, Aquodagnel Haut is an impressive stone farmhouse that has been recently renovated. The combination of dark wood shutters against pale hued local stonework, topped with a tiled roof in shades of terracotta, creates a pretty picture enhanced by open grounds and sweeping views.

A successful mix of traditional features and modern amenities ensures the interior will appeal to all whilst pale walls and spacious rooms mean a light and airy atmosphere prevails.

At the end of the entrance hall, double doors open on to a large room which spans the width of the house. Here you will find the kitchen combined with a living and dining area; a welcoming and well equipped space, it is the heart of the house, with large double glass doors leading out to the grounds and poolside terrace.

A smaller room at the front of the house has been set aside for quiet relaxation or for watching TV whilst upstairs, a huge games room can be found which will no doubt appeal to children and teenagers.

Nearby Montgaillard (2km) is home to a bar, shop and 'boulangerie'. A wider choice of shops can be found in Gaillac (27km) or Montauban (25km).

Gaillac, to the east, is the starting point for many wine trails around the local vineyards and Montauban, to the west, is a lovely red brick town on the banks of the River Tarn. The surrounding countryside is dotted with picturesque 'bastides', the architecture of which remains virtually untouched by time.
