  • Outside: Extensive lawned grounds. Barbecue. Table tennis. Dining terrace. Garage. Private parking.
  • Private swimming pool (11m x 5m) with Roman steps.

This is a beautifully restored and imposing residence.'The Chronicles of Archduke Lluis Salvador of Austria', written in 1890, features the house amongst some of the finest buildings and landscapes in the Balearic Islands.

The property is effectively two adjoining houses, each totally self contained with full facilities and thus ideal for groups of family or friends who wish to holiday together and yet retain their independence. Dining together is no problem for family groups either inside or out as the house is very well equipped for large parties.

Careful refurbishment has created a unique atmosphere where modern conveniences tastefully blend with original beamed ceilings and terracotta tiles. The skills of local artisans are evident in the carpentry and in the various pieces of restored furniture, while the vaulted, hand carved ceilings of the living and dining rooms are particularly impressive.

From the first floor of S'Alzinar there are magnificent country views. The house lies off a country lane and is within 4km of the pretty church of Sant Joan de Missa, focal point of the festival of Sant Joan each June.

The old capital of the island, Ciutadella, with all facilities, including some excellent harbourside restaurants and picturesque tree lined squares, is just 1.2km and there is a choice of protected country beaches, including Son Saura, Cala Turqueta and Cala Macarella within a 15 minute drive.

Parties paying the small party rate will have use of one house only.
