Tucked away at the end of a country track amidst a quintessential rural Menorcan landscape of meadows and wild olive trees, this delightful stone hideaway is a rare find that incorporates the best of both worlds; a stylish retreat that is private and secluded and yet at the same time only 5km from the island’s picturesque capital in one direction, 8km from the charming market town of Alaior in the other and a short drive from a range of unspoilt coves on both northern and southern coasts.

Recently converted from its former use as a byre, Casa Piedra offers smart, up-to-date accommodation within grounds that have been imaginatively designed to blend in perfectly with their rustic surroundings.

Lined with attractive sandy coloured tiles that reflect the natural hues of the mature, leafy trees that encircle the property, the swimming pool sits within a stone terrace, bordered by a rockery of colourful plants. Just below and adjoining the house is a patio of crazy paving, partly covered to provide shade, with an in-built barbecue conveniently located to the side.

Step inside through the arched doorways that line the property’s façade and this beautifully restored home will instantly appeal.
