This shoreline can be reached by way of a 10 minute drive from the house, with the nearest beaches being those of the bustling and cosmopolitan resort of Puerto del Carmen. Alternatively head north from La Asomada to enter the wine growing area of La Geria, a fascinating landscape where the bright green foliage of the vines provides a striking contrast to the dark rock within which it is planted. Along the way, a choice of smart bodegas offer some excellent dining options and the chance to buy some of the fresh Malvasia wine they produce.
