Situated in richly verdant countryside just 7km north of Saint Antonin, Cadourel epitomises rural French living in a stylish and contemporary fashion.

The surrounding farmland stretches as far as the eye can see where nature lovers, ramblers and photographers alike can become absorbed in their passion. Recently restored to a high standard, this 18th century barn conversion is both spacious and characterful.

As you step through the front door natural stone flooring complements the modern décor of the spacious kitchen/diner. The large living room, with its inviting plump sofas, features a wonderful glazed archway that looks out onto the side terrace and gardens. Upstairs, the exposed wooden beams and stone walls serve as a subtle reminder of the building's legacy and blend harmoniously with the comfortable furnishings to be found in the bedrooms. Of particular note is the generous main bathroom with its elegant roll-top bath and well-appointed facilities.

Outside, the pool area is surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens and provides a generous sun terrace, whilst to the rear of the house the walled garden and covered terrace offer a shady haven.

Saint Antonin (7km) is a treasure trove of medieval architecture boasting France’s oldest civic building and half-timbered houses tucked in amongst a labyrinth of narrow streets. A variety of bars and restaurants are at your disposal as well as amenities such as supermarkets, a post office and a Sunday market that is not to be missed. Further afield are the notable towns of Cordes-sur-Ciel (26km) and Najac (29km).
