Stunning mountain scenery and a unique position within the protected natural environment of the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park are yours to enjoy at this attractive and beautifully presented cottage, which sits amidst one of the most impressive landscapes in southern Spain, just 3.5km from the picture-postcard village of Grazalema.
Soaring limestone peaks, covered with the abundant flora that makes this area such a favoured haunt for botanists and artists, are framed like a painting by the stone-clad arches that span the property’s front terrace. It is here that guests will no doubt spend much of their time, looking out across the pretty cobbled patio with its colourful rosebushes and ornate fountain, and soaking up this exquisite panorama.
Situated to the side of the house, the pool enjoys an equally impressive outlook, whilst inside, a combination of colour washed walls and rich wood furnishings create the welcoming ambience of a homely country cottage.
Just a 5 minute drive away are the neat streets of Grazalema, lined with whitewashed buildings and made colourful by the bright flowers that spill through elegant wrought iron balconies. In its centre, the Plaza de España and its surrounding cobbled alleyways are home to some excellent restaurants and shops selling locally produced wares. All amenities and a bustling local atmosphere can be found here, although should you wish to venture further afield, the historic town of Ronda with its famous bullring and awesome gorge is just 20 minutes away by car.
*As this is a protected area of natural beauty, barbecue bans may be enforced from early June. If this is the case, an electric 'plancha' will be provided for outdoor catering.
