  • Ground floor: Entrance hall. Kitchen (dishwasher and microwave). Living room with fireplace and doors to covered terrace (TV, DVD, CD). Bathroom. Children's bedroom with single bed and additional pull-out bed.  Double bedroom.  Twin bedroom.
  • First floor: Master double bedroom with en suite bathroom.  Twin bedroom.
  • Lower ground floor: Spacious games room (TV, CD, table football, children's games and books) and doors to covered terrace. Shower room. Laundry room (washing machine). Central heating is available throughout the house.
  • Outside:  Spacious lawned gardens, dotted with fruit trees. Large covered terrace with in-built barbecue.
  • Private swimming pool (9m x 4.5m, all one depth) surrounded by terraces. 

 


We were immediately struck by the quality and attention to detail as we wandered through the attractive rooms of this impressive family home, where smart accommodation sits amidst beautifully maintained grounds a short walk from the amenities of the local village.

Traditional materials have been combined  with modern appliances to create a welcoming and comfortable abode. In the spacious living room, leather sofas sit atop a polished wood floor and doors lead onto a terrace that conveniently overlooks the swimming pool below. There is no shortage of facilities in the gleaming kitchen, with the bathrooms being equally up-to-date.

Outside, the swimming pool is surrounded by a wide expanse of sweeping lawns that span the front of the house, perfect for children's play, whilst a spacious games room on the lower level of the property, with doors onto a wide covered terrace, is another attractive feature.

Situated off a country lane some 900 metres from Vilarchán, the house is within easy reach of the village shop and bar, whilst being a short drive from the riverside town of Ponte Caldelas, which offers restaurants and all other amenities. Some 9km in the other direction lies the ancient town of Pontevedra with its delightful maze of cobbled alleyways and colonnaded squares, beyond which stretch the sheltered sandy beaches of its adjacent ría.
