A unique position in the heart of the ancient and famously beautiful city of Ronda makes this stylish town house an exciting discovery that is within strolling distance of the historic sights, striking landmarks and atmospheric shops and restaurants that have made this southern Spanish city such a prominent and favoured destination in guidebooks of Andalucía.

Nestling just below the old city walls, the almost village-like quarter of San Francisco is home to typical streets of whitewashed homes, bedecked with flower-filled wrought iron balconies. At its hub is a cobbled square, bordered with houses, local shops and one of Ronda’s most atmospheric restaurants, just beyond which an ornate Moorish gateway leads the way through the walls up into the old part of the city.

It is in this charming and picturesque district, just 300m from the square, that San Nicasio is to be found. In a privileged setting at the end of a typical street, its lawned garden and pool look out to the east across the gently rolling countryside that surrounds the city, whilst the windows and balconies that line its other façade enjoy views across the multi-shaded terracotta rooftops.

An architect by profession, the owner has employed the most up-to-date of design techniques and an imaginative, artistic flair to create a home that is contemporary, elegant and equipped with the very best of modern technology. Light floods through the many patio and balcony doors that feature throughout the ground and first floors, whilst down below on the lower level an equally smart and bright ambience prevails, with natural light being ingeniously directed into the windows of basement rooms from up above. Underfloor heating for cooler seasons and a poolside sauna add a touch of indulgence and make this an ideal choice of property for those seeking a smart home in one of Andalucía’s most historic cities.

Guests paying the small party rate will have use of the ground and first floors only.
