Wherever you choose to stay in Provence you can be assured of a golf course being not too far away!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sainte-Victoire i<\/strong>s Situated very close to Aix-en-Provence and is the oldest golf course in Provence was created in 1935. It\u2019s laid out in the midst of pines and scrubland and enjoys views of the Ch\u00e2teau de l&#8217;Arc.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_129\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-129\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-129\" title=\"sainte-victoire-golf-course\" src=\"https:\/\/www.vintagetravel.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/sainte-victoire-golf-course.jpg\" alt=\"Sainte Victoire Golf Course\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-129\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Sainte Victoire Golf Course<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Slightly further afield (North of Berre Lake) you\u2019ll find the <strong>Miramas<\/strong> course, which has two quite distinct sections; one which is flat but dotted with tricky water obstacles and the other with stunning rolling fairways.<\/p>\n<p>Around 30 miles further north you\u2019ll find the <strong>Pont-Royal<\/strong> golf course situated on a vast plateau overlooking the Durance valley within 445 acres of estate. This course is rather special because it was designed by Spanish champion golfer, Severiano Ballesteros.
