The Algarve with its stunning vistas, Roman roads, masses of flora and fauna, Moorish legends and traditionally quant buildings, as long been an artist\u2019s paradise.<\/p>\n

From local old women skilfully twisting and weaving palms leaves under the shade of a tree making beautiful hats, to young sprightly artists set up with a canvass and paint on the water\u2019s edge, recapturing the fishing boats bobbing in the water with the sun setting in the background, artists of all shapes and stature exploit the Algarve\u2019s vast and varied beauty to enhance their artistic inspirations.<\/p>\n

With such an emphasis on art on the Algarve, an abundance of art galleries line the cities\u2019, towns\u2019 and even villages\u2019 streets.<\/p>\n

One particularly arty town in the Algarve is Loule, where many a gallery and studio devoted to developing and displaying the artistic geniuses of the region can be found.<\/p>\n

It is here in the historic quarter of Loule where David Haines, one of the Algarve\u2019s most recognisable artists, has opened his own gallery.<\/p>\n

Haines began his career as an artist in Portugal by reproducing flawless reproductions of Van Gogh masterpieces, which proved to be so popular amongst the Portuguese, that they had literally been sold before the pant had chance to dry!<\/p>\n

Haines went on to become known for his own unique style, and his gallery, located in the popular square of D, Pedro First, with the gallery Cha d\u2019Arte next door, became an immediate success.<\/p>\n
