With glorious sweeping sandy beaches, quirky riverside towns steeped in history and intrigue, set against a backdrop of rolling hills hiding stunning ravines, it is no wonder that Vintage Travel\u2019s selection of hand-picked villas in the Algarve sold out in for this year\u2019s peak season, forcing us to expand our portfolio of villas in the Algarve for 2012. And the new luxury villa in the Algarve<\/a>, Casa del Ray, \u00a0certainly lives up to scratch\u2026<\/p>\n

Casa del Rey, Val del Rey<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our expanded Algarve portfolio includes the magnificent Casa del Ray<\/a>, a stylish and spacious country home, situated on ample private grounds of 8,000 square metres in the exclusive enclave of Val del Rey.<\/p>\n

Sporting some of the best views on the Algarve, this luxury villa has three bedrooms, three bathrooms and can accommodate up to six guests. Part of the charm of Casa del Rey are the villa\u2019s many delightful furnishings tastefully scattered around the house, many of which have been handcrafted by local artists and craftsmen.<\/p>\n

If you can manage to pull yourself away from the comfort and intrigue of Casa del Rey\u2019s interior, you\u2019ll find it even more difficult to leave the villa\u2019s extensive and magnificent grounds. The stunning private swimming pool provides guests with a difficult decision \u2013 tan yourself on the open terrace, or loll about on the shaded terrace, reading a book perhaps or simply just marvelling the striking views.<\/p>\n

A stroll around the property\u2019s garden is equally as beckoning as spending time by the pool, and it is easy to find yourself getting lost in the pretty, colourful rockeries of bougainvillea and oleander, its flourishing orchids of mango, fig, pomegranate and olive trees, straddling a magnificent rolling lawn.<\/p>\n

Whilst one could quite easily spend their whole holiday lazing about this inspiring country house, exploring the local countryside, villages and coves is advised, where the rocky and untamed natural landscape, contrasts dramatically with the meticulously well-kept order of Casa del Rey \u2013 A house that is truly fit for a king!<\/p>\n
