Speedminton is a fun alternative to badminton, tennis or squash and can be played practically anywhere. This historical town was founded by King Denis of Portugal in 1321, who ordered that a castle was built. This momentous building still dominates the town, attracting hordes of visitors throughout the year. Since 1978 the international biennial of art has taken place each year in Vilanova de Cerveira, drawing an annual stream of art enthusiasts from around Europe and beyond.<\/p>\n<p>Not far from Vilanova de Cerveira, where the river meets the sea, long sandy beaches can be found and are just crying out to be explored.<\/p>\n<p>A week\u2019s stay at Quinta do Espinheirinho starts from \u00a3695 and rises to \u00a32915 in peak season.
