Stunningly situated and sensitively built, Cabo do Sol on the Galician coastline is a luxurious house by anybody’s standards. This wonderful property has seven bedrooms and six bathrooms and sleeps 14 people in unrivalled style and comfort.<\/p>\n

\"Cabo<\/a><\/p>\n

Part of the reason we’ve labelled this luxury villa in Galicia\u00a0as possessing the ‘wow’ factors is because of its enviable position, with gardens stretching right up to the Ria de Vigo, which flows out into the wide open Atlantic Ocean.<\/p>\n

As you watch the sun drop down beyond the nearby Isles de Cies from these beautiful gardens you may ponder the time when the English pirate Francis Drake made landfall on these Galician islands, whilst preparing to attack the very same coastline where this majestic house resides. No wonder the Spanish thought of Drake as the \u201cscourge of God\u201d. Thankfully canon balls and cutlasses are in the distant past around these parts.<\/p>\n

Cabo do Sol is certainly a house to covet. Being clad with palm trees shade is offered whilst meandering through the impressive garden complete with a view that stretches across the shores and the sea to the untouched Cies Islands. A tennis court and private pool provide the opportunity to exercise in the most deluxe of surroundings. The house is irrefutably grand yet not pretentious in the least. Polished wooden floors run throughout the property, their natural colours in-keeping with the villa’s breathtaking natural vistas. Huge windows enable visitors to marvel the views, which are so impressive that you won’t want to sit with your back to the windows at mealtimes.<\/p>\n

One of Cabo do Sol’s most outstanding features is the glamorous sweeping staircase which leads up to a galleried landing. It is not too difficult to imagine Nicole Kidman walking down the \u201cHollywood\u201d staircase in a satin evening dress as she prepares to make her way across the coastal path at the bottom of the garden \u2013 Yes it’s certainly the kind of property that the Hollywood elite would reside.<\/p>\n

The whole of the river estuary is adorned with quality beaches and the day trip to the Isles de Cies is a must. Taking the coastal path from the bottom of Cabo do Sol’s garden to a nearby sandy cove, promises to be a great day out. This delightfully rustic coastal path will also take you to La Buraca, where a handful of quality seafood restaurants, shops and bars await. But no matter how plush and enjoyable the sites, attractions and towns in the vicinity of Cabo do Sol, you are always going to want to get back to this house before too long and wake up in the morning to the king of views.<\/p>\n
