You can hear music from every street corner, every single person dresses up in fancy dress, some of the costumes are true works of art. The most humorous and ludicrous carnival to take place on the Iberian peninsular. It is famous for the satirical groups called <i>chirigotas<\/i>, who perform comical <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Musical_composition\">musical pieces<\/a>. Typically, a chirigota is composed of seven to twelve performers who sing, act and improvise accompanied by <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Guitar\">guitars<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Kazoo\">kazoos<\/a>, a <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Bass_drum\">bass drum<\/a>, and a variety of noise-makers.
