Vintage Travel\u2019s selection of \u2018Wow\u2019 properties has become even more spectacular with the arrival of Villa Giuncheto, an incredible country home just 15 kilometres from the historical town of Siena.

With nine bedrooms and ten bathrooms, Villa Giuncheto can sleep between 14 and 18 guests. This imposing country home has been renovated to the highest of standards, with many a traditional feature left intact.<\/p>\n

The house comprises of two separate accommodations, one in the main house and the other in an annexe. Each of the bedrooms are en-suite meaning every guest can shower, wash and get ready in privacy.<\/p>\n

Villa Giuncheto\u2019s d\u00e9cor is traditional and rustic and complements the natural simplicity of its surroundings. Thick wooden beams hang grandly overhead in every room marrying the natural charm of the terracotta tiles impeccably.<\/p>\n

The splendour and tastefulness of this incredible country home is elevated further by the many antique furnishings, grand rugs and fabrics and many other Tuscan treasures that grace the house\u2019s interior.<\/p>\n

For guests seeking exercise and activity on their holiday under the Italian sun, at Villa Giuncheto they will be spoilt for choice. The villa has its own tennis court, boules pitch, a well-equipped gym with running machines and weights machines and It even has its own football pitch.<\/p>\n

Whether you have a football-infatuated teenage son, a tennis-playing daughter, are a group of self-confessed boules fan or enjoy spending a morning in the gym, at Villa Giuncheto it\u2019s all there for the taking!<\/p>\n

Of course all that exercise is hungry work and Villa Giuncheto is geared towards some serious cooking, eating, drinking and partying. With a spectacular wood oven the villa\u2019s wonderful farmhouse style-kitchen is a true pleasure to cook and entertain in.<\/p>\n

After a fabulous dinner party why not retreat to the living rooms, for a quiet evening of bridge, reading, billiards, or perhaps a local wine tasting session?<\/p>\n

Talking of wine, Italian wine aficionados will be in their element at Villa Giuncheto as the house welcomes guests into its barrel-vault wine cellar – true Tuscan style.<\/p>\n

When you finally retire to bed, further luxury awaits in the bedrooms, which are beautifully appointed. Lie back and drift into a restful sleep on the highest quality Scandinavian mattresses.<\/p>\n

The property\u2019s separate annexe comprises of a living room and two double bedrooms, both en-suite.<\/p>\n

As you can imagine, outside is equally as grand and impressive. The large private pool will no doubt be a favourite source of entertainment, where bathers can swim looking out towards the most spectacular views of the nearby town of Siena and its surrounding countryside.<\/p>\n

The villa\u2019s extensive gardens are a delight to walk around and get lost in.<\/p>\n

Eating in the Tuscan air can be achieved in luxury on Villa Giuncheto\u2018s spacious terrace. A visit to Italy would not be complete without eating pizza, hence why the villa has its own pizza oven! Though with a barbecue nearby, it could be an arduous tossup between pizza or a barbecue!<\/p>\n

Being just 15 kilometres away, the magical town of Siena awaits you. With its captivating medieval streets and an historic centre that was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it\u2019s easy to appreciate why Siena is one of Italy\u2019s most visited tourist destinations.<\/p>\n
