227 metres above sea level<\/strong><\/p>\n

Motovun is located 227 metres above sea level and boasts a sweeping view of fields of vineyards, which produce mouth-watering Malvasia and Teran wine.<\/p>\n

The world\u2019s largest truffle was found in Motovun<\/strong><\/p>\n

In 1999 the largest truffle ever to have been discovered was found in Motovun. Giancarlo Zigante found the giant truffle and still holds the world record for locating the largest white truffle ever.<\/p>\n

Motovun International Film Festival<\/strong><\/p>\n

Each year during the last week of July and the beginning of August, the Motovun International Film Festival takes place. The popular festival shows films of an avant-garde nature from around Europe and the United States.<\/p>\n
