Casolare Cortona is a six bedroom, four bathroom farmhouse that lies within spacious grounds surrounded by Tuscan countryside at its most magnificent. The house can sleep up to 12 guests in comfort.<\/p>\n
Perched on a hillside on the edge of the charming town of Cortona, Casolare Cortona boasts an incredible location, the perfect place for being acquainted with traditional Tuscan life.<\/p>\n
Casolare Cortona is a beautifully restored farmhouse done up in a traditional Tuscan style that is comfortable, spacious and inviting. The ground floor comprises of an open-plan dining room\/kitchen with doors that lead out to the terrace and garden. An unusual feature stands out in the property \u2013 the original horse manger!<\/p>\n
The double bedroom is en-suite and there is a further three double bedrooms and two twin bedrooms on the first floor, with plenty of room for guests to spread out, relax and take in the Casolare Cortona\u2019s idyllic position.<\/p>\n
The farmhouse\u2019s exterior is as welcoming as its interior, with spacious enclosed grounds comprising of terraces, an emerald lawn and dining pergolas providing a fantastic spot for wining and dining in the fresh Tuscan air, whilst drinking up the incredible views Casolare Cortona beholds.<\/p>\n
At the bottom of the lawn, a large pool with a shallow \u2018beach\u2019 area takes centre stage. For parties comprising of children, a child\u2019s swing and slide will help keep little ones entertained.<\/p>\n
This stunning property is one of a cluster of stone houses in the spectacular Val di Chiana. The magical town of Cortona, which is just 11 kilometres from Casolare Cortona, has everything you\u2019ll need to enjoy a quintessential Tuscan break, including a collection of restaurants and a number of shops. Closer to home in Fratticciola you can pick up groceries from a mini-market and enjoy a drink in the hamlet\u2019s main piazza.<\/p>\n
Further afield, the fabulous water sports and walks of Lake Trasimeno await, as do the world famous Italian cities of Florence and Rome.<\/p>\n
