It is definitely a place for people who like to stay put and enjoy their holiday without much traveling around, as you need to take a curvy, mountainous road each time you want to go exploring!<\/p>\n<p>The food in Rabac varies from local specialties like pasutice (pasta), and krafi (sweet ravioli stuffed with cottage\u00a0cheese, and raisins), to standard dishes of calamari or grilled fish and meat. The town holds a gastronomic event, once a month in the summer, with traditional cooking and regional specialties, perfect for those wanting to sample authentic Istrian cuisine.<\/p>\n<p>The coast around Rabac is exceptionally stunning. You can take boat excursions along Rabac Riviera or to the island of Cres where you have a free time to explore and become acquainted with this beautiful island.<\/p>\n<p>It may not be your taste in music, but every summer a festival takes place on the beach with international DJs playing house music. In August there is also an adventure race for professional sportsmen and women, including hiking, mountain-biking, swimming, rowing, and cliff climbing.
