Such traditional features contrast tastefully with the villa\u2019s contemporary fittings, including a modern fitted kitchen with an island and modern appliances.<\/p>\n<p>This beautiful country home is named after the Portuguese word for owl \u2013 mocho \u2013 derived from the owners\u2019 love for the bird, which is evident throughout the property.<\/p>\n<p>The villa is geared towards spending time outdoors and taking in the beautiful scenery that surrounds it and enjoying the fabulous weather this part of Portugal basks in virtually all year round, with a spacious covered terrace and a nearby barbecue for those memorable family meals outside.<\/p>\n<p>No villa in the Algarve would be complete without a swimming pool to cool down in and Casa Mocho is home to a large impressive private pool backed by a sun terrace for sunbathing, reading a book or drying off after a dip.<\/p>\n<p>Casa Mocho is just 4km from the whitewashed village of Estoi, home of one of the Algarve\u2019s finest 19<sup>th<\/sup> century \u2018Rococo\u2019 style palaces.
