With four double bedrooms and four bathrooms, Ch\u00e2teau de\nBalarin sleeps eight guests in comfort. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"710\" height=\"473\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/10.-710x473.jpg\" alt=\"Immerse yourself in history and beauty at south west France\u2019s mighty Ch\u00e2teau de Balarin\" class=\"wp-image-8474\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>A fine example of a French rural residence, this 16th-century ch\u00e2teau was stood empty for years, until being renovated to an extremely high standard and re-emerging as an exquisite country home.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meandering around the ch\u00e2teau\u2019s extensive grounds is an\nactivity in itself, as within these spacious parkland grounds are the ruins of\nthe original castle, including an observation tower.
