La ville close
Standing at the entrance to the ‘ville close’, it is immediately clear why is it called the ‘enclosed town’; it is encircled by sheer walls which rise straight out of the water of the harbour with just a narrow bridge linking it to the quayside. Inside, the streets are lined with beautifully restored stone houses and many little boutiques. At the far end is a lovely green park space to enjoy. Continue on and climb up to the ramparts for a great view of the marina and coastline.
