Under the Travel Traffic Light system Croatia is categorised as 'Green'.  Mainland Spain, the Balearic Islands of Mallorca and Menorca, the Canary Islands, France, Portugal, Italy, Cyprus and Greece are all currently categorised as 'Amber'. From 22 September Turkey will move from 'Red' to 'Amber'. From the 4 October the Traffic Light System will no longer be used.

Under the Traffic Light system, destinations are categorised as follows:

Green

Passengers will not need to quarantine on return but must take an antigen lateral flow test in the 72 hours before the flight/ferry departs for the UK and a PCR test on day 2 after return to the UK.

Amber

Fully vaccinated passengers and children under the age of 18 will not have to quarantine on return but must take an antigen lateral flow test in the 72 hours before the flight/ferry departs for the UK and a PCR test on day 2 after return to the UK.  All other passengers will need to quarantine for 10 days (or 5 days under the Test & Release scheme). They will also be required to take an antigen lateral flow test in the 72 hours before the flight/ferry departs for the UK and PCR tests on day 2 and day 8 after return to the UK.

Red

Passengers will have to pay for a 10-day stay in a managed quarantine hotel. They will also be required to take an antigen lateral flow test in the 72 hours before the flight/ferry departs for the UK and PCR tests on day 2 and day 8 after return to the UK.

Many of our clients are travelling to Amber destinations and the UK government has advised that from 19/7/21 fully vaccinated travellers, and children under 18 no longer need to quarantine. When you are making a new booking we may ask you about your vaccination ‘status’. This is so that we can give the property owners a level of confidence that the booking will go ahead..
