Client Reviews for La Atalaya

We had a really relaxing stay at La Atalaya – the pool and the views were stunning. It was hard to drag ourselves away to visit the delightful area. Ronda was well worth the effort, and so were the villages of El Gastor, Olvera, Zahara and Grazalema. The day trip to Sevilla was long but thoroughly enjoyable. Thanks for a lovely stay.

We had a very relaxing week here admiring the stunning views from the lounge and pool, over indulging at El Gastor’s restaurants – particular credit to La Posada and Los Cuñaos. We loved visiting Zahara and Ronda and made the effort (which was well and truly worth it) to visit Cordoba. Thanks to Georgina and Jesus for making everything so easy.

Lovely fortnight in a well-equipped villa. Loved watching the vultures soar and the ever changing views throughout the day. Go to Zahara for tapas and good walk to the castle. La Posada in El Gastor lovely local food and very friendly host. The pass between Grazalema and Zahara excellent drive and views. Thank you to Georgina and Jesus for prompt attention.

Thank you very much for a wonderful fortnight at this palatial and well-appointed villa. Marvellous views, lovely pool, majestic birds and many more superlatives. We have had a restful and relaxing time. Three magic trips to Grazalema to enjoy the rock climbing, flora and fauna. El Gastor seemed even more resplendent than ever with the street decorated with potted flowers. A beautiful area all together.

Superb, tranquil, peacefu lweek, amazing watching the birds of prey. Grazalema definitely worth the drive and the village, beautiful. Ronda is worth a trip, especially the old town, found a great tapas bar in the square. We will be back!

We had a lovely stay here! Our favourite was Ronda, with the old town. Lovely food (tapas especially) at Bar Sinpecado. We also loved Zahara which had amazing views from the top of the hill. The kayaking on the lake was also good - though tiring!

Super villa, amazing views, great pool and beautiful area. Our first family holiday in Spain and we loved it - will definitely return. We were impressed by how courteous and polite the Spanish have been. Now off to Portugal - hopefully it will live up to La Atalaya!

Fabulous stay at yet another lovely Vintage Villa "Home from home". Great food at El Muelle in Arriate will go again. Third visit to Molino del Santo, didn’t disappoint. Thank you Jesús.

We’ve had a lovely stay at La Atalaya! We especially enjoyed watching the eagles and vultures flying overhead. We also enjoyed a fantastic day at Ronda, looking at parts of the old town. Exploring El Gastor was fun too. The entrance to El Gastor is very pretty, the plant pots reflect on the white houses, of all the towns, this one is our favourite. The villa was amazing also, all the beds are comfortable and it doesn’t lack equipment. The pool was perfect, not too hot, not too cold. We have had a wonderful stay.

Very pleased how lovely the villa has been. It's been nearly 40 degrees while we've been here but the air-con at night means a good night’s sleep and there is lots of shade by the pool. Pool has been wonderful and the views amazing. An 8pm sunset kayak on the lake has been excellent fun. The boys also enjoyed a buggy trip around Ronda. Thank you for a great villa.
