Client Reviews for Casa Luz

This is a truly lovely home and a great base to see Andalucia. We really enjoyed late afternoon on the terrace, enjoying sunsets and some sherry. Vejer is an amazing town and offers a wealth of bars and restaurants. We loved the sherry bar. The bar at the end of the road does stunning food, slightly bonkers but creative and expansive flavours - FAB-U-LOUS. Cadiz a great day out, fascinating architecture and some nice little tapas bars. The tuna restaurant in Barbate is outstanding - better than many starred places in London - if you like tuna. Andalucia has been a revelation. Thanks to Niki for some great local info - invaluable.

Vintage have come up trumps again. Beautiful villa in a very special town. We have had a lovely holiday and found the most gorgeous beach (Zahora) and spent every day there, returning in the evening to watch the sunset at one of the beach bars. A nice surprise is the plunge pool is actually an exercise pool with disco lights! Thanks for a wonderful week.

Fantastic week in this lovely villa. Perfect location to explore Andalucia and Vejer itself. Would highly recommend a trip to the Andalucian horse show in Jerez followed by a tour at Bodegas Tradicion. All restaurants made an enjoyable evening. There is a great local deli to pick up a bottle of wine to enjoy on the roof terrace. It was without doubt the most relaxing week. We will certainly be returning.

We wanted a location where we could walk out of the door and stroll along through the lovely town to picturesque restaurants and views and we certainly got that. The house is a delight and all we could want. We visited Cadiz which was charming and Jerez. An enexpected delight of the holiday were the beaches. They are all massive, golden sand and the sea is warm. All in all, an excellent holiday to a beautiful place.

We arrived at Casa Luz after a week in Cuartillos with Vintage - a real contrast from a farming community to the sophistication of Vejer! Both delightful homes but Casa Luz was everything we would ever have wished for and beyond! The house is pretty much perfect in every detail and it seemed every day we discovered something new - the lights on the terrace and the pool drew many gasps of delight. Vejer itself is a wonderful adventure, the food available was so good. We fell in love with El Palmar beach, the sea was so clear and the sand so smooth underfoot. All in al a wonderful week and we feel exceptionally lucky that we chose Casa Luz as it has to be the most luxurious and stylish holiday home we've ever stayed in! Thank you so much for providing such a lovel of facilities and comfort.

Our week in lovely Vejer has been wonderful. The town is full of lovely shops, bars and restaurants. Our day in Cadiz was lovely and a walk around the fish market a must! We also spent a few interesting hours at the Tio Pepe Bodega in Jerez. The beach ar Zahora is lovely - get there early to watch the mist go and the sun appear. Also early means a good long walk to Trafalgar lighthouse and back.

Loved Vejer as offers wonderful views, shops and restaurants. The house is amazing, love the decor and very comfortable. Ideal location for older families. Enjoyed the buzz in the evening and peace of the terrace at night. Enjoyed El Palmar very early in the morning. Will definitely be returning and wished we owned this fantastic house, a pleasure to stay in, great linen, beds etc.

We have had a lovely week here in Vejer and have been extremely pleased with the house. It is well equipped and walking distance from all the lovely restaurants nearby. In terms of beaches, we went to El Palmar, Fontanilla and Zahara and we all unanimously agreed that Zahara was the best, though the sun-ved hire was a little steep so buy some cheap chairs. Cadiz is definitely worth a visit - amazing to see the fish market as well as the beautiful historic buildings.

We have had a fantastic week in Vejer. The 1st time we have stayed in a town house so a whole new experience. We really enjoyed NOT having to drive to the restaurants in the evening! The house is a pleasure to stay in but the beach at Zahora is fabulous with views of Trafalgar lighthouse. Thank you to Niki who made our arrival so welcoming.

Our holiday generally was excellent but I'd like to particularly feedback on the rep, Niki, who really does go beyond the call of duty for your clients. We arrived on a very busy weekend and she had parked her own car in the recommended car park to save us a space - the roads were then closed off temporarily just as we were arriving to allow an Easter event - she met us in person and came with us to show us the route to get to the car park avoiding the road closure. Our arrival would have been very stressful without her assistance - finding your holiday home can be a bit stressful at the best of times when you're tired from travelling and just want to get into your accommodation - so this really did make a big difference to our overall holiday experience. Throughout the week she was helpful without being in any way intrusive - this positive experience is probably a key factor which will encourage us to book with you again (we have been on a holiday with you before about 8 years ago but organised by a family member - this is the first time we have booked with you ourselves).
