Client Reviews for Marinella Gris

Very happy with the villa and the service provided. Informative website with accurate information. Keep your prices reasonable and we will use you again. Thanks.

We stayed in the villa next door last year so were familiar with the area and the property. Cala d’Or is a lovely place and we enjoyed being back. Marina is lovely for a meal with a view; the old town is more touristy and a little more tacky, but there are some nice restaurants. Villa is well positioned for town and Marina,.... Overall, a very good week, we would return to Cala d’Or.

Family of 5 adults and 8 months old baby. Villa is perfectly positioned for Cala d’Or centre and Marina. Weather was changeable, so table tennis table was a handy addition. Went to Santanyi market on a rainy day, imagine it would be a nice trip on a sunnier day.

Perfectly positioned villa in the nicest part of the town. Harbour area is lovely with lots of good eating places. The little “trains” are quite useful to get your bearings. We liked the National Park beaches at Cala Mondrago. The Sea Rider speedboat trip from the harbour is fun and again, gives you an idea of local beaches.

A lovely week lazing by the pool. Super villa – very comfortable and cool. Favourite restaurant was Botavara. Enjoyed lunches at Porto Petro. Hope you enjoy the experience as much as we did.

A wonderful week. Location fabulous – enjoyed the diversity between left or right out of the villa. A multitude of great restaurants and friendly bakery were much enjoyed! Sorry to be leaving. Have a great holiday.

Fabulous week. Beautiful villa. Very relaxing. Recommend the beach at Llombards. Butchers and bakers excellent. Botavara down at the Marina offers a proper meal out – good fish, fantastic service. Returning home refreshed.

Great villa, great location. This book was really useful for local tips and Kristel (Vintage host “rep”) was great too. To add to other people’s comments: Best beach at Cala Llombards, then Mondrago which is also amazing and our second favourite. In walking distance, Cala Ferrera was ok, Cala Gran gets too busy in the afternoon (mornings are great) and the smallest Cala d’Or Beach is nice for a walk at night (quick visit) but dominated by the hotel in the day. Mondrago (15 minutes by car) and Llombards (25mins) are miles nicer, with places for the kids to explore and cafes on both beaches. Great butcher, baker and little Spar nearby (2 min walk). PS. Baker does great pastries and croissants for breakfast. I was queuing at 7.30AM!!

We had a fantastic week here! A great location. Our recommendations to eat locally are – Fernando café in town, S’ Ancora at the Marina and Porto Fino also at the Marina. Good, cheap and safe bike hire just up the road at Moto Sprint towards town. We had some great days out at: Mondrago National Park (good walks and beautiful bays), Coves de Campanet (North, food very basic but the caves and the views stunning), Cala Figuera (South, beautiful fishing village). Thanks for a great week, shame we have to go home!

Weather has been glorious so we have taken the opportunity to explore the island. Loved Palma and Sineu.
