Client Reviews for Le Pastre

Wow Wow Wow! What an amazing villa - thank you so much for such an amazing holiday. The villa and pool are just beautiful, and the views magnificent. When we did manage to tear ourselves away, we had a fantastic day at the Gorge at Verdon. We hired an electric boat - highly recommend but you must book. Thank you again.

As Vintage veterans, we can confirm this villa was probably the best yet. A lovely spacious house and a glorious view! We have hugely enjoyed ourselves, relaxed and eaten royally Chez Eric. The Mistral has kept us company all week, but the view - ever changing - has never palled. We sincerely hope to return.

What an amazing house! I don't think I've ever seen views like it and we loved the kitchen, the d├ęcor, the village, the area, the solitude, the convenience and the meals at the little sheltered table. Truly perfectly designed. We were here with our 11-month-old, but even if we hadn't had our hands full with her, I'm not sure we'd have left much. As it was, we made one foray to Chez Eric [the restaurant in the village] and spent the rest of the week hidden away. Edith was lovely; everything else made very easy. Thank you so much.

The view is to die for and one which we will miss when we wend our way reluctantly home. The house is gorgeous and we love the paintings. The owner was here to give us a tour of the house & advised of the best places to visit & eat. We hope to come again next year as we didn't get to explore the area properly.

We had a wonderful few days in this beautiful villa, & wanted for nothing, it was so comfortable & well equipped. The jet stream in the pool was fantastic & enabled you to have a really good swim in such a stunning location.

This is our second visit to Le Pastre because we loved the house, the garden and the views so much the first time and we love it even more the second time! Jean-Francois - you have a wonderful house! Here's to the third time!

We have absolutely loved staying in this beautiful house! We barely left apart from a great day sightseeing in Avignon. Very much enjoyed the pool and the fantastic views, especially the sunsets in the evening!

Thank you for a great holiday. Beautiful views and lovely house.

We have had a lovely 2 week break at Le Pastre. Like others, have enjoyed visiting the local markets & eating Banon goat's cheese. Chez Eric didn't disappoint & also had a good menu du jour in St Michel de l'Observatoire & in Lourmarin. Would also recommend the drive to Lourmarin and stopping in Cucuron, Ansouis and La Bastide en route.

Thank you for a lovely week in your beautiful villa. We enjoyed the peace and tranquillity and of course the spectacular views. The weather was pretty mixed so we didn't use the pool as much as we would have liked, but always had the comfortable sitting room to relax in. Lots of places to visit - we recommend Banon for a real Provencal village.
